Barrie Concerts & Georgian Music

We would like to invite you to the remaining concerts of our 2023-2024 concert season!

So far we have enjoyed Spirit ’20, Collectif9, the Sords-Johnson-Duvall trio, Sinfonia Toronto with violinist Elisso Gogibedaschwili, and a Musical Theatre Song Cabaret with Brett Polegato and Robert Kortgaard. And there is more to come, from a return of Sinfonia Toronto to wonderful pianists and groups with fresh approaches to concert music.

We were recently excited to learn that our founder, the late Bruce Owen, was posthumously awarded the Cultural Changemaker award by the City of Barrie. Details can be found here

There is truly something special about live performance. As reviewer J. Puhm recently noted:

"A concert is a special moment in time, that happens at a special place, and that involves a special interaction between the performers and the audience."
