Barrie Concerts & Georgian Music

Thank you for a fabulous spring make-up season!

Our “make-up” series (for concerts postponed in spring 2020)launched on March 18 with a wonderful concert by the Toronto Concert Orchestra and singers Sara Papini and Romulo Delgado and finished on April 22 with a varied concert by the Canadian Women’s Brass Collective and guests. In between we had the privilege of hearing performances by the Magisterra Soloists and the Kawartha Trio. It was really wonderful to hear live music again, and the artistsprovided varied and entertaining programs of top quality. We were so happy to once again experience high quality live (or streamed) concert music in Barrie, and to having you share the joy of live music with us.

You can still (for a limited time) order tickets for on-line access to the last 2 concerts of the spring season. This is available until 30 days after the live concert (though the ticket sales will close a couple of days earlier).

A full season for both Barrie Concerts and Georgian Music is planned for the 2023-2024 season.See the brochure, which can be accessed below, for details.

Tickets for the 2023-2024 season are sold on a subscription basis. They can be ordered in many ways. You can order by completing the order form and sending a cheque or e-transfer as directed in payment, or by clicking on the “Buy tickets here …”tab which will take you to Showpass, which will handle credit card sales for us. Detailed information on all the concerts can be found under the Barrie Concerts and Georgian Music tabs. We now have links to the web pages of most of the artists, if you wish to find out more about them.

And lastly, please check out our sponsors. Most of them also have active links to allow you to discover more about them. Sponsorships and donations make it possible for us to continue to bring high quality music to you at an affordable price.
